The Berwyn Fire Company’s (BFC) Annual Fire Fund Drive is underway!  If you’re unfamiliar with BFC and their wonderful dedicated staff and volunteers, these first responders provide fire protection and life-saving services to Easttown and Tredyffrin residents. Donated funds will be put toward major upgrades to modernize the firehouse and make it safer for personnel.

Did you know:

• The Berwyn Fire Company responded 3,217 times in 2018, setting an all-time record, for total combined calls for both fire and EMS.
• This is the 4th year since 2014 that their call volume has exceeded over 900 fire responses.
• Volunteers and career staff saw an increased call volume for EMS in both Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships compared to the previous year.
• Due to increased development in general, as well as the new Brightview Senior Living building in Tredyfrrin, and Recovery Centers in Easttown, ambulance services are anticipated to increase.
